Millstone Medical Outsourcing announced today that it completed its acquisition of regulatory testing services provider Ethide Labs.
Fall River, Massachusetts-based Millstone completed its acquisition on Nov. 14, 2022.
West Warwick, Rhode Island-based Ethide Labs brings more than 60 years of experience in regulatory testing services for the medical device and pharmaceutical industries. The certified laboratory completes more than 5,000 tests annually on more than 100 unique products. It provides testing for ethylene oxide (EO) residual, microbiology, bioburden, sterility, and package integrity testing, as well as environmental monitoring services.
Millstone said the acquisition of Ethide Labs ensures in-house access to its full range of testing services. The company also expects it to strengthen its end-to-end expert sourcing and support services. This acquisition accompanies another recent buy, with the company acquiring laboratory testing service provider MycoScience.

Millstone said the Ethide Labs leadership team is set to join its own experts.
